The San Diego Chorus is stepping into a new chapter—one defined by elevated musicianship, bold a cappella artistry, and a renewed drive for competitive excellence. As a high-level chorus, we're seeking a relational Musical Director with a deep command of vocal pedagogy, rehearsal craft, and artistic imagination. Someone who can champion our competitive goals while nurturing the growth and confidence of every singer. Someone who thrives in member‑led environments, leads with collaboration and clarity, and embodies inclusivity in both philosophy and practice. Most importantly, we’re looking for a leader whose values resonate with our own and who feels inspired by the mission and spirit of this chorus and Sweet Adelines International.

Coaching, ongoing improvement, and creative exploration are woven into our culture, complemented by active access to top-tier regional and international educators. We also invest in resources for ongoing director development, ensuring that our Musical Director is supported, challenged, and equipped to lead at the highest level.
