The Dogwood Blossoms is a midsize chorus of women of all ages who love to sing 4-part acapella harmony in the barbershop style. We formed in 1981 as a chapter of Sweet Adelines International and are dedicated to musical growth and sharing our music with our community.
 We are actively seeking an individual who will guide us musically and help us grow as singers. If you are passionate about harmony, love working with people and enjoy inspiring others through music and whether you’re a seasoned director or relatively new to “waving your arms”, we’d love to have you check us out.
 Opportunities:
· Educational opportunities are available through Sweet Adelines International such as Director Certification Program and Arranger Certification Program.
· Chorus performance:  we do shows annually, participate in regional competitions, sing at festivals and community events.
 The chorus meets weekly on Mondays from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm at the Mount Vernon Developmental Center, 1250 Vernonview Dr, Mount Vernon, OH.
